Humbled and honored once more

Well, I'm finally catching up on all my promptfest correspondence after being away on and off this summer. Thank you for recommending my fiction in your blog *blushes.* I'm sure that you must have lots of followers, so if any of them become readers I'll be more than pleased. I'll be posting my fiction on Ashwinder and possibly on The Petulant Poetess very soon.

I've just begun to read a little bit about your experiences living in in the US for a year. You are a wonderful writer and your descriptive style has sucked me right into your adventures.

What type of things do you enjoy knitting?

Thank you very much for your kind comments. I work as an editor of academic articles, so it's good to know that my own writing style appeals! I admire everyone who writes fic, though; I'm OK with descriptions, but plot and characterisation - now those are challenges!

So far, I have mostly knitted worsted-weight yarnon fairly big needles, mostly US 6-9, and I think that is why I find the idea of socks intimidating - such tiny needles! Now that I am back in Israel, I'll have to get used to using thinner yarns, as even in winter it's not cold enough for anything heavier. Maybe that will get me into knitting socks ...
