Dear gingerbred/beyondwandpoint, I hope you are making today special in some way. 

Here's a picture from my birthday, taken in Israel's Negev desert in March after an unusually wet winter:

That was the last time I was outside Jerusalem. I look forward to next year, when you will be able to do whatever you please, without thinking about social distancing / lockdown / anything else pandemic-related!

Thank you, melodyssister! I appreciate it greatly. Just this week I stopped to take a picture of some wild flowers while out cycling (on my "one a day exercise"). With all the work I put in in the garden, it's always surprising and a little humbling to discover just how pretty nature can be on its own.

Hope you're to get out again soon. I think we shall treasure the excursions all the more for the contrast. Keep well, my friend. 😊
