Did you check out South Street? I haven't been in years. It used to be a cool, edgy destination. But then the "duck boats" took over and it became more of a tourist trap instead of a gathering place of misfits, outcasts, and artists. Just north of South street, and a few blocks from the river, you will find Chestnut street, with its wonderful restaurants. I highly recommend Amada, a tapas restaurant. That is... if you're still in Philly.
