I was so exhausted after getting home last night that I totally forgot to post (putting on two loads of laundry took precedence). This will once again be brief, as I'll be writing a full report of the last two weeks for a letter home over the next couple of days.
We spent Memorial Day in the Philadelphia Museum of Art, from 10:30 to 15:30 or so. We did not take pictures at the iconic Rocky statue - there was actually a line there! I have to admit to being slightly underwhelmed by the PMA. Admittedly, the National Gallery and the Met are in a class by themselves, but I think that there was more art that spoke to me, personally, at the MFA in Boston. But maybe I was just tired after Saturday ...
We never got to South Street (thanks for the rec,
mimimanderly) , we ran out of time and of steam. But you always need a reason to go back, right?
